Born Steven James Bodnar, is a first-generation Hungarian-American Businessman. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government from Le Moyne College, Syracuse NY, and commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army Reserve. Prior to College, Steven attended the Junior Statesmen Summer Program at Yale University in 2005 and 2006, and the Junior Statesman Program at Georgetown University in 2007 and he attributes much of his world view, inquisitive nature, motivation, and ambition due to habits he developed in this elite program.
With $25,000, he began trading Stocks and Options in 2011 and continues to trade a myriad of asset classes. In 2013-2015, he worked on and off at Financial Firms and at one point held a Series 7 License. Due to corporate exposure, his decision making is driven by such factors as Fundamentals and special situations regarding Corporate Actions alongside popular trends such as Emerging Markets. Most recently he began actively trading Cryptocurrency after institutional validation by the launch of CBOE/CME Futures.
In April 2017 he co founded a software development company, Braxxis Partners.The purpose of the company is a depository for Software Information Technology as a Product Owner and a Software Information Technology Project Manager for Companies and Individuals.
In December 2017, Steven wrote the first book to be published on Bitcoin Futures Trading on Amazon titled: “The Close Enough Factor: Bitcoin and Futures Trading” two days prior to the CBOE launch. The short book was written in a conversational and easy to understand manner. It was well received by those in the industry and led to the creation of “The Close Enough Factor” series. He is an active contributor and market commentator for the Digital Financial Publication, Stock Market Revolution.
